The Storm

I watched out of the window
As the clouds started filling the sky
At first they moved real slowly
As they gathered up so high

Turning darker - gray and black
Speedily they twisted and turned
Clouds racing with each other
As they tumbled and they churned

Lightning flickered savagely
A bolt with a silent sound
Then came boomers deafening roar
Announcing their presence around

But just as quickly as it came
It faded - went on its way
The sun came back with brilliance
A glorious - wonderful - day

Sharing Is Caring

To share with someone special
Just a moment - just a smile
Can bring you so much happiness
Can make things so worthwhile

Hand in hand - a little stroll
Wild flowers line the way
Trees all waving their branches
"Welcome" to you - they say

Sharing the stars and moonbeams
The sound of the crickets song
An occasional streaking comet
A tail so brilliant and long

Together you watch the sunrise
You watch its glow as it sets
Together you're sharing and caring
The best - the best that it gets

We need this caring and sharing
A "Someone" to share what we do
A "Friend" who cares what happens
A "Friend" - My Dear - like you
